You shouldn’t wait for anything. You have a lot of pages to purge out of you before you produce anything worth producing so get to work.
When you find an artist you will revisit the work and tailor it to their specific strengths
True for comics and also for novels, short stories, screenplays…
Thursday 1:00-2:00— hanging out at the Geek & Sundry lounge in the afternoon after the Welcome to Night Vale panel. Stop by and say “hi.”
Friday—2:30- saying hi and scribbling in things at the Random House/Crown booth.(#1515) until they kick me out.
Saturday 12:00-1:30—hanging out at Nerd HQ. Stop by, talk, support a good cause.
Saturday late afternoon—probably lurking around the Random House/Crown booth (#1515) in an unofficial manner, if you want to stop by.
Just to be very clear, I’m not a guest of/ associated with either Geek & Sundry or Nerd HQ (sigh). They’re both just offering great, off-site events you can walk into (even if you don’t have a Comic-Con pass) and hang out at. So I’m taking shameless advantage of that and maybe getting two or three more folks to support them.
Hope to see you there.
